When will you perform the first oil change?

Did it about two weeks ago, when the vehicle told me to... With only 2,400mi on it...

I did my first at 5,000mi. Switched to full synthetic at that point.
Mobil 1 0W-20.
I have never gone 10,000mi on an oil change on any vehicle, until now.
Ford says 10,000mi between oil changes. Manual says to follow the oil life monitor or never exceed 1yr or 10,000mi.
I drive high miles. Just changed oil for 2nd just shy of 15,000mi. 2 weeks ago. Went 10,000mi. Oil life monitor was down to 6%.

I decided to go to 10,009mi oil changes only because I own the 1.0L Ecoboost. The oil filter is up high on back of engine, over too the axle shaft.
In all my years owning different vehicles this the worst ever to do simple oil filter change oil.
So I'll go 10,000mi to eliminate doing it so often.

I kept with the OEM Motorcraft oil filter. Easily obtainable at Walmart and cheaper than the FRAM offering.
Latest oil change was Mobil 1 annual protection 0W-20 only because it was on roll back at a greatly reduced price.
