WAZE and CarPlay

Seems to be a reality, testing later today.

My main goal is to be able to switch between Sirius/XM weather map and Waze without pressing 100 buttons

[B] Update: On a trip to choir practice, loaded CarPlay and Waze was there. Worked fine. Faster entry on the road reports. screen nice, only thing I missed is the current MPH, speed limit is there, but no current speed. Might be an app setting - checking[/B]

I'm still pretty confident you still must upgrade Sync 3 to version 3.0 for Carplay/Waze to work. I had to go to my dealer to get the upgrade, the USB upgrade failed. It might work now, but back then the upgrade software was buggy and my Service guy had to update his laptop first.

I've tried upgrading it didn't work either. Did they charge you to upgrade?

My guys did it for free, but I got the Extended Service Plan. Did you check out this link?

Mine took a while, but my Tech did not have the latest software on his laptop. I'd also either call the service department or even better your salesman with the issue. Should be under warranty!
